The tomb of Ali Badr El Din El-Qarafi lies in Sidi Gala Street nearby the Mausoleum of Emir Qawsun . It was built in the Bahri Mamluk period on the hands of Sultan El Naser Mohamed Ibn Qalawun. This tomb stands as a simply decorated stone building with a ribbed brick dome that is decorated on the Mamluk style. Nearby this small mausoleum, appears the only remaining part of an old complex which is a freestanding Minaret.
