The Cenotaph of Khadiga locates in El-Khalifa Street opposite to the tomb of the Abbasid Caliphs. The tomb stands as a white marble cenotaph that dates back to the 10th century. The most illuminating features of this cenotaph are the handsome floriated Kufic inscription of some verses of the Holy Quran, and the gracefully designed arabesque background, and the beautiful lotus forms.
