The Sabil of Umm Abbas lies in Saliba Street behind the monument of Emir Shaykhu and one can clearly see it from the Citadel . It was established by the mother of Abbas II, who was a very charitable and kind member of the royal Family at that time to the extent that she was called Umm El-Muhsenin (mother of charitable people). The façade of the Sabil is handsomely decorated with flowers and leafy sprays. On the right side of the monument appears a place that was used as a school and became the Center for Art and Life currently.
