The Sabil-Waqf of Yusuf Bey situates in the side street of El-Helmia. This Sabil-Waqf and another Sabil-Kuttab in El Saliba Street were constructed by Yusuf Bey, one of the nobles of the Ottoman period. The noblemen in the Mamluk and Ottoman period were used to establish the Sabil as a means for providing the passersby with cold water. The only remaining part of the Sabil is the hexagonal Chain that appears clearly on the façade of the building unlike the beautifully decorated facades of the earlier time.
