The Sabil of Ibrahim Bey El-Munastirli lies fifty meters away from Maydan Sayyida Zaynab. It was established by the Ottoman noble Ibrahim Bay El-Munastirli at the beginning of the 18th century. In the Islamic period, wealthy people used to build Sabils or cold water fountains as a kind of charity for providing the thirst passersby with cold water. This Sabil is worth visiting for its beautifully decorated two façades and the random placement of rosettes and squares around its grill. The upper part of this Sabil is in ruins and only some broken down parts can be seen now.
