Agriculture Museum

The Agriculture Museum is located in the Mathaf Elzerae St, Agouza, Giza. Founded during the reign of King Farouk, the museum was housed in the Palace of Princess Fatma, daughter of Khedive Ismail and was inaugurated in 1938, being the first museum in the world dedicated to agriculture. On display in the museum are a collection of objects, illustrations, statues, and the history of agriculture since the pre-history till the modern times. Within its compound, the museum comprises a big garden with rare plants, a cinema hall, a lecture hall, a library and a number of laboratories.
