This patera is regarded as a good example for the style of decoration of containers in the Ptolemaic period especially in the areas of Syria and Cyprus and then spread throughout the East . It is shaped as a circular plate with a navel in the shape of small daisy in its center . This navel is surrounded by a large number of small ovulas .
