The Pantheon of the Philosophers

Dating back to the Roman Period, the Pantheon of the Philosophers is a semi-circle of statues of famous Greek philosophers and poets, located in the western section of the Necropolis of Saqqara. The 'Pantheon of the Philosophers' was a name given to the place where some statues of the Greek philosophers– such as Plato and Aristotle– are gathered. Some of these statues are still extant in their places, at a distance of few meters from the entrance of the Serapeum, and close to the Tomb of Ti.
