This diadem is a good example for the fashionable diadems in the Middle Kingdom . It is one of the treasures that were well-kept inside a space in the walls of the Tomb of Princess Sathathoriunet . This crown consists of a gold band ornamented with some rosettes and inlays of carnelian , lapis lazuli , and green glass paste and the most distinguishing item in it is the uraeus serpent in its center . It was usually worn on the wig and the thin strips hanging down from it were usually moving on the sides of the face and at the back of the neck with a beautiful appearance .
