This dagger is one of the treasures discovered in the Tomb of Queen Ahhotep . Although it is not usual to find such items in the tomb of a woman , such pieces were dedicated to the queen by her sons Ahmes and Kames , the conquerors of Hyksos , as a sense of gratitude . The blade of the dagger is made of bronze , with gold leaf line , while the grip is framed with two convex silver plaques and wooden core in addition to some gilded decorations .
