These twin bracelets were discovered among other accessories in the tomb of Queen Ahhotep , the mother of Kames and Ahmes; great rulers and conquers of Hyksos . The bracelets are made of small beads of gold , turquoise , carnelian , and lapis lazuli arranged together in beautiful geometric shapes . The clasps of the two bracelets together form the cartouche of Ahmes , pharaoh of 18th Dynasty , with his coronation name , Nebpehtyra , and birth name Ahmes .
