The Mosque and Sabil Kuttab of Shaykh Mutahar locates in the Intersection of El-Moez Le-Din Allah Street and El-Musky Street. It was erected by the Mamluk Emir Abd El-Rahman Katkhuda who became the greatest patron of architecture in the Ottoman period. The monument is worth visiting for its beautiful Minaret that appear over the entrance and its doors that are ornamented with tiles which are the only remaining parts of the building. There is also a beautiful Sabil-Kuttab that was usually built by wealthy people as a kind of Charity. In front of this building stands another monument but there is no enough information about its owner or its date of construction.
