Qanibay Mosque that lies 60 meters up of Shaykhoun Street on the right side was founded by Qanibay El Mohamadi who was a noble Mamluk in the 15th century. The Mosque as a whole is not very wide, yet gracefully decorated. Inside, the plan is that of a large oblong room bisected twice by horseshoe arches. The ceiling has been repainted and regained its bright colors and its beauty once again .
The Minaret stands next to the mosque over the entrance. In the mausoleum that stands in one of the corners of the mosque appears two white marble panels carved with medallions on both sides of the Mihrab.
