Abu Zeneima (Abu Zeneimah) is one of the cities of South Sinai Governorate located on the Mediterranean Coast. The main economic resources for the city are tourism and mining. On its lands stand a number of petrol extracting companies and this attracts a large number of inhabitants to live in that area. Moreover, northeast Abu Zeneima there is Serabit El Khadem Temple that date back to the ancient Egyptian times and encloses a small cave of the goddess Hathur.
