Kerdasa is a village in Giza Governorate nearby Giza Plateau. It is famous for its handmade native-styled carpets, cloths and other textile and cotton ginning industries that are regarded as the main economic resources for the city. Kerdasa City encloses three major textile factories that were built after 1952 revolution and this provided the inhabitants of Kerdasa with job opportunities and source of income as well. Nowadays Kerdasa is one of the commercial centers that encloses a large number of bazaars where tourists and visitors of Giza Pyramids can take souvenirs at good prices.
