The Tomb of Khadiga Umm El-Ashraf situates in El-Wakkad Street, surrounded by a number of modern houses. There is no accurate inscriptions refering to the constructor of this tomb, but its style of decoration indicates that it belongs to the mother of Sultan Barsbay. This tomb is worth visiting for its beautiful brick dome with interlocking ribs on its transition zone and its square base that is surmounted by a flight of stair steps.
Khanqah and Mausoleum of Emir Qawsun
The Khanqah and Mausoleum of Emir Qawsun lies in El Qaderya Street off El Sayyida Eisha square. It was erected by Emir Qawsun who was the husband of the daughter of Sultan El Nasir Muhammed. He played a major role in the rule of the country for a short period and then he was assassinated in 1341.He
