Shahin El Khalawaty Khanqah and Tomb lies in El-Sayyida Eisha Square nearby the mosque of El Lulua. It was established by Shahin El Khalawaty who was one of Sultan Qaytbay's Mamluks. He went to the Tabriz and then he followed one of the ways of mystics that was adopted in Iran called El-Khalawaty. After that he came back to Egypt and established his mosque and grave in the area of El-Muqattam Hills and devoted his life for worship only until his death. There are hardly few remains of that building currently.
