The Irrigation Museum in the city of El Qanater El khairia comprises models of the irrigation systems, methods, techniques and equipments that had been used since the Pharaonic Period up to our times, a collection of illustrative three- dimensional maquettes of the High Dam and of all bridges constructed alongside the Nile, as well as recently-introduced sound and light shows that relate to visitors the history of the irrigation phases in Egypt since the Pharaonic Era.
