Dakhla Oasis
El Dakhla is an oasis in the Western Desert in New Valley Governorate. It lies between El Kharga and El Farafra encloses about 14 villages as well as a great number of monuments that date back to different eras. Its history dates back to 12000 BC, when the nomadic hunter's gatherers began to settle almost permanently in Dakhla Oasis. El Dakhla Oasis, with its capital Mut, is one of the most beautiful oasis of Egypt that is blessed with hot water springs and magnificent weather that attract a large number of tourists for enjoying Safari trips and many people who suffer from rheumatic ailment for receiving treatment there. The oasis is also rich in mineral wealth and encloses some phosphate quarries and the main economic resource for it is tourism.
