The Theban Tomb TT52 is located in Sheikh Abd el-Qurna. Nakht was an official, scribe and astronomer in the temple of Amon-Ra during the reigns of Tutmes IV and Amen-Hotep III. The tomb was discovered by the villagers in 1885 and the scenes were recorded between 1907 and 1910. The tomb has a cruciform design, with transverse hall and inner chamber. In the scenes of the tomb, we find Nakht and his wife Tawi receiving offerings, banquets with music and dance, agricultural scenes, and a false door imitating red granite. In the transverse, we find one of the most beautiful paintings of the Egyptian art: the scene of the seated ladies sniffing lotus flower and listening to the blind playing the harp. Scenes of Nakht fishing with his family, hunting birds, and scenes of grapes collecting, and treading can be admired.
