Day 2 : Cairo ToursAfter breakfast , pick up from your hotel in the morning and we will start your tour with an egyptologist guide in one of the mysterious Seven Wonders of the Ancient World , visiting these three fourth-dynasty pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Menkaure . Then proceed to visit their guardian Great Sphinx , the head of a pharaoh with a lion’s body , rising from the Giza Plateau . Stroll through the Valley Temple where the Priests Mummified the dead body of king Chephren . Having lunch at nearby restaurant in Cairo , then move to visit the Step Pyramid Complex . Back to your Hotel and overnight in Cairo. Then you will be transferred back to your hotel and overnight in Cairo. Day 4 : Flight to Aswan from CairoEnjoy breakfast , check out from hotel and then transfer to Cairo Airport for a flight to Aswan . Visit the High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk and one of the most beautiful temples in Egypt, the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Then transfer back to Aswan and overnight . Day 5 : Abu Simbel TourIn the morning we will pickup transfers from your hotel in Aswan by a modern air-conditioned coach to visit Abu simbel and start your wonderful tour in one of the enormous temples. Arrive at Abu Simbel and visit the Temples of Ramses II , is one of the most fantastic places in the world which is classified as a world heritage by the UNSECO. It was built by Ramses II who dedicated it to the national gods of Egypt: Ptah, Ra, Amun, and himself, Ramses II as a deified king, son of Ra. We proceed to visit the temple of Queen Nefertari , she is reproduced twice as Hathor, with her cow horns, holding the solar disk on her head, while Ramses appears four times, with different crowns. Transfer to the Nile Cruise in Aswan for embarkation and overnight on the cruise. Day 6 : Kom Ombo – EdfuOnce breakfast , we will sail to Kom Ombo and we will visit the incredible Kom Ombo temple, dedicated to the gods Sobek and Hareoris. Having lunch on board on the cruise . The cruise continues sailing towards Edfu and then will visit the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the God Horus . Back to the cruise and head to Esna . Having dinner on board and overnight. Day 7 : Luxor West BankAfter breakfast in the morning , we will sail to Luxor and visit the Royal Cemetery for 62 Pharaohs , the Valley of the Kings that was the place, during the New Empire, where the pharaohs were buried. Here the kings of the XVIII, XIX and XX dynasties were buried, as well as some queens, princes, nobles and even animals. The most known tombs are Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, AmonhotepII , Mrenptah , Tut-Ankh-Amon, and Ramssess VI. Move on to visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the unique temple of Queen Hatshepsut (XVIII dynasty), the most monumental of those built in the valley and unique in its kind throughout Egypt. You will pass by the colossi of Memnon which are two giant stone statues that represent the Pharaoh Amenhotep III located on the west bank of the Nile, near Medinet Habu and south of the great Theban necropolis. Back to the Nile cruise , have lunch on board & having dinner on board . Spend the night in Luxor on board the cruise. Day 8 : Luxor East Bank - Sharm El SheikhAfter breakfast on board , will disembark from the Nile cruise to visit the Bank of the East in Luxor by English tour guide to see the Karnak temple, the greatest example of worship in history, dedicated to God Amun, his wife Mut and his son Khonsu. Next, transfer to the visits of Luxor Temple , which was built by Amenhotep III in Dynasty 18 in the New Kingdom and was completed by Ramses II during the 19th Dynasty. Followed by a visit to Obelisk of Ramses II , that still stands before the monumental entrance to the temple of Luxor. Transfer to to Luxor airport for flight to Sharm El Sheikh. Upon arrival in Sharm, transfer to your hotel for free time . Overnight in Sharm El Sheikh. Day 9 : Sharm El Shiekh Optional ExcursionsFree day in Sharm or join our optional tour to St.Catherine Monastery which is built where the tradition assumes that Moses saw the “bush that burned without being consumed”. It is one of the oldest monasteries in the world and it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Overnight in Sharm El Sheikh. Day 10 : Sharm El Shiekh Optional ExcursionsEnjoy breakfast at your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh and then you will be transferred to Sharm International Airport for flight to Amman. Day 11 : Sharm El Sheikh to Amman FlightEnjoy breakfast at your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh and then you will be transferred to Sharm International Airport for flight to Amman. Day 12 : Madaba and Dead Sea TourBreakfast and departure to visit the Mount Nebo to admire the panoramic view of the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea , Jericho and Jerusalem from the mountain. Transfer to Madaba , is home to the famous 6th century Mosaic Map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land. With two million pieces of vividly coloured local stone, it depicts hills and valleys, villages and towns as far as the Nile Delta. Afterward we drive to the Dead Sea, One of the most spectacular natural and spiritual landscapes in the world, the Jordanian east coast of the Dead Sea has evolved into a major hub of both religious and health & wellness tourism in the region. The unusually warm, incredibly buoyant and mineral-rich waters have attracted visitors since ancient times, including King Herod the Great and the beautiful Egyptian Queen, Cleopatra. Transfer back to Amman Day 13 : Ancient City of Petra TourAfter breakfast , will pick you up by air conditioned vehicle and drive to the Rose Red City of Petra, the world wonder, is without a doubt Jordan’s most valuable treasure and greatest tourist attraction. It is a vast, unique city, carved into the sheer rock face by the Nabataeans, an industrious Arab people who settled here more than 2000 years ago, turning it into an important junction for the silk, spice and other trade routes that linked China, India and southern Arabia with Egypt, Syria, Greece and Rome. . After your time at Petra you make your way back through the Siq , , a narrow gorge, over 1km in length, which is flanked on either side by soaring, 80m high cliffs. Just walking through the Siq is an experience in itself. The colors and formations of the rocks are dazzling. As you reach the end of the Siq you will catch your first glimpse of Al-Khazneh (Treasury). . Transfer back to Amman. Day 14 : Final DepartureAfter breakfast you will be transferred to Queen Alia Airport for final departure. | |
