Ti was an overseer of the pyramids and Sun-Temples of Kings Neferirkare and Neuserre of the Fifth Dynasty. His Tomb is located in the western section of the Necropolis of Saqqara. Its fame among the other tombs at Saqqara largely depends on its huge size, its unique architectural design and the rich reliefs and texts that show the peak of the art during that time. Attractively, the multi-colored scenes on this mastaba are highly fascinating that they skillfully and vividly depict a number of activities such as fishing, hunting, carpentry and funerary equipments. An interesting scene is that of the school of scribes. Among the items archeologists found in the tomb was a statue of the deceased.
