The Sabil and Hod of Abd El-Rahman Katkhuda situate in the street of Qarafat El-Wazir facing the complex of Mangak . It was erected by Sultan Abd El-Rahman Katkhuda who is credited to renovating a huge number of the monumental places in Cairo. There are many monumental places that carry his name including Zawiyat Abd El-Rahman Katkhuda that still exist as it was built. The Sabil is a fountain that was usually built by the noblemen in the Mamluk and Ottoman period to provide the thirst passersby with cold water. The only remaining part of this Sabil is the façade with its two arched front.
