Welcome at the hotel Luxor. Visit the west bank where we will discover the Valley of the Kings that was the place, during the New Empire, where the pharaohs were buried. Here the kings of the XVIII, XIX and XX dynasties were buried, as well as some queens, princes, nobles and even animals. The most known tombs are Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, AmonhotepII , Mrenptah , Tut-Ankh-Amon, and Ramssess VI. Move on to visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the unique temple of Queen Hatshepsut (XVIII dynasty), the most monumental of those built in the valley and unique in its kind throughout Egypt. You will pass by the colossi of Memnon which are two giant stone statues that represent the Pharaoh Amenhotep III located on the west bank of the Nile, near Medinet Habu and south of the great Theban necropolis.
