The Hammam of Emir Bashtak lies in Suq El-Selah Street. It was used as a means for facilitating bathing for the low and middle class women who inhabit nearby it. This Hammam was established by Emir Sayf El-Din Bashtak who was the officer of El-Malek El-Nasir in the Mamluk period. The Hammam has a finely colored strap work and a ribbed arch with a red rhomboid in its center. Many addition and restoration processes were made in that building and the only remaining part that date back to the Mamluk period is the portal.
