This fine necklace was found adorning the mummy of King Psusennes I in his tomb in Tanis . It is marvelously decorated with gold , carnelian , lapis lazuli , feldspar and red jasper . It is shaped on a scarab with wings ornamented with multi-colored stripes topped over a horizontal cartouche bearing the King's name . Flanking the insect are the two squatting sisters Isis and Nephthys , each bearing the hieroglyph of her name on her head . Both of them have before them some inscribed words which they utter in favor of the King . Over the scarab's head , there is a cartouche bearing the pharaoh's coronation name , "Aakheperre Setepenamun" , from which two large uraeus serpents stick out . Above the cartouche stands a winged sun disk . The outspread wings are flanked by two more tightly coiled cobras crowned by the sun disc . Also highly admired are the seventeen amulets supporting the base . They alternately depict the Djed pillar (symbol of stability) and the Tyt (also known as 'Tit , Tet , Tyt and the Knot of Isis) .
