This is one of the attractive gold works that was wrapped in the mummy of princess Khnumit in her tomb at Dahshur . It is shaped as two rows of small gold beads and a number of hieroglyphic signs and amulets in between . Among the signs in this necklace , are the ankh is depicted on either side as a symbol for eternity , the vulture , symbol for Nekhbet the guardian goddess of Upper Egypt , Djed pillar as a symbol for stability , cobra as a symbol for Uadjet and many other amulets that are placed in the tomb to protect the deceased during her journey in the underworld . Of special interest in the necklace is the brightly colored raw of drop-shaped items .
