This necklace was found in the Tomb of Psusennes I , Crypt of Psusennes I , in Tanis . Masterly decorated with gold and semi-precious stones , the item comprises of a colorful double-stringed necklace (that ends with a counterpoise in the form of an upturned lotus flower) and a pectoral; both fastened together by a hinge . The pectoral is divided into two registers: the upper section is decorated with the two winged sisters Isis and Nephthys each bearing the hieroglyph of her name on her head and flanking a scarab resting on a Djed Pillar , the symbol of stability . Fastened at either side of the scarab are two vertical cartouches bearing the royal names or Psusennes I . Above each of the raised wings of the goddesses , there is a Wedjat eye (also known as Udjat or the Eye of Horus) from which a coiled cobra appears . The lower register is decorated with an upturned lotus flower fastened to two uraeus serpents . This was further flanked with two boats at the sides , carrying Psusennes I with the Benu-bird (right boat) and god Osiris (left boat) . A Djed pillar stands against the left boat and the Iabet-standard signifying the East against the other .
