Mit Salsil is one of the cities in the southeast of
El Dakahlia
Governorate . It is bordered by a number of major cities in the governorate and is known as the city of education due to the high rate of educated people in it . The city comprises of a number of small villages and contains a vast green lands and this makes agriculture the main source of income for it . El Masjed El Kabir or the Great Mosque is one of the major tourist places in Mit Salil . The city is supplied with all necessary services and facilities of means of transportation , education , and health care services .
