Queen Nefertiti was the wife of King Akhenaten and there are numerous statues and stelas depicting her with her husband wearing her high crown and long robe held in place with a belt making offerings for Aten . There are few information about the origin of Queen Nefertiti . This incomplete head of Queen Nefertiti is made of dark quartzite was a part of a complete statue that was consisting of several parts and it was supposed to be covered with a crown . The facial featuers of the queen are portrayed in a way that reflect the royal dignity especially in the almond-shaped eye heavily inlaid with kohl and the small and slender nose .
