Tomb of Ptah-Shepses

The site of Abusir includes a group of tombs of high officials from the Old Kingdom, among which is the massive Tomb of Ptah-Shepses who lived at the end of the Fourth Dynasty and during the reign of King Ne-user-Re of the Fifth Dynasty. The tomb lies at a short distance in the southeast of the Pyramid of Sahure. The tomb's walls are decorated with significant scenes.
