Tomb of Osorkon II

Usermaatre Setepenamun Osorkon II was a pharaoh of the Twenty-second Dynasty of Ancient Egypt and the son of Takelot I and Queen Kapes. His tomb served as a burial place for many kings. Takelot I, the father of Osorkon II, usurped the Tomb of Semended. Within the tomb's compound were buried Osorkon II, his son Harnakht and Shoshenq III. In the tomb, there are inscriptions of Osorkon I. Unfortunately, the tomb was robbed and only a hawk-headed coffin and the canopic jars remained.
