TT 69 Menna was Scribe of the Fields of the Lord of the Two Lands, the overseer of agricultural activities on the extensive royal landholdings, and director of cadastral surveys under the reign of Thutmes IV and the beginning of the reign of Amenhotep Ill. The cruciform-shaped Tomb of Menna has an entrance corridor, a transverse hall, and inner chambers. Though small, it is full of quite absorbing scenes that manifest the Ancient Egyptian daily life. In the tomb, you will have a great chance to view the most creative New Kingdom paintings that are distinguished with their lively mix of the traditional and the innovative tendencies of this epoch.
