Temple of Ramses II
The Temple of Ramses II (almost completely destructed) lies nearly 300 meters north of the Temple of Seti I in Abydos. The exterior walls of the temple display a calendar of festivals and a version of the Battle of Kadesh.
In the temple's court stand Osirid pillars and chapels dedicated to Ramses II, gods of Heliopolis, Ramses II's ancestors and his father, Set I. Also depicted are scenes of adoration of Osiris, Amoun and his triad, Thoth (god f wisdom) and Min (god of fertility).
