Menouf

Menouf is one of the major cities in El Menoufiya Governorate that was the capital of the governorate for a long period of time until the age of Mohamed Ali Pasha moved the capital to Shebin El Kom. It is renowned for enclosing a large number of hospitals of highly advanced technologies and qualified stuff and some factories that provide youth with job opportunities. It encloses a large number of smaller cities and villages and agricultural lands. The most important agricultural crop produced in it is broad beans that are sometimes exported abroad.
