Mashtoul El Souq



Mashtoul El Souq is one of the administrative of El Sharqiya Governorate that was one of the cities annexed to Belbeis administrative center untill 1979. It locates on the borders of El Shaqeya with El Qalyoubiya Governorate and is about 35km away from Cairo. Mashtoul El Souq is one of the least densely populated areas in the governorate and encloses a large number of towns and villages including Kafr Yusuf, Dahmasha and others. On its land, there is a great number of mosques of fascinating Islamic architecture style such as Abu El Nasr Mosque, and Ahmed Abu Yusuf Mosque and many others. The major economic resources for the center are agriculture and food industry.
