Kafr El-Sheikh

Kafr El Sheikh is the capital of Kafr El Sheikh Governorate. It locates on the western bank of Rasheed Branch of the Nile and about 140 km northward Cairo. Its main economic resources are driven from agriculture, commerce, administrative services and food industry. It encloses some important factories including Rice Mill factory and many other industries that provide its inhabitants with job opportunities and financial support. Kafr El Sheikh International Trade Pont is one of the important governmental sectors working for providing the small and medium investors with support needed for establishing their projects and attracting more investments to the governorate. Kafr El Sheikh is the birthplace of many prominent political leaders including Saad Zaghloul and Ahmed Zwail.
