El Hawamdiya
El Hawamdeya is one of the cities of Giza Governorate on the western bank of the Nile. It is also an important industrial zone that is renowned for sugar, food, and steel industries that are regarded as its main economic resources. It encompasses a number of smaller villages such as Sheikh Uthman and it is the birthplace for the famous Egyptian football player Sabet El Batal.
