El Hamoul

El Hamoul is one of the cities of Kafr El Sheikh Governorate bordered with Baltim, El Burullus Lake from the east and Kafr El Sheikh City from the west. It comprises of a number of smaller towns and villages and its name is derived from El Hamoul plant that grows on its land. On the lands of El Hamoul stands Delta Sugare Factory that is regarded as the major company for producing Sugar from Sugar beet in Egypt. The major economic resources for the city are sugar industry, fishing and logistic industries and services.
