Beni Hassan
Beni Hassan lies on the east bank of the Nile, 25 km south of the city of Menia, in Upper Egypt. Famous for its catacombs, its archeological area comprises 39 ancient tombs dating back to the Middle Kingdom, most of which are similarly-designed with a carved entrance, a large pillared painted room and burial shafts. On top of these Tombs are Tomb of Khety and Tomb of Baqet III. The rickets for entering these tombs is very cheap, but photography is banned currently for the safty of the monuments.
