Beit El-Ommah, or House of the People locates in El Mounira district in the city center. It was the house of the Egyptian Nationalist leader Saad Zaghloul who fouded the political party of Al-Wafd and negotiated the Independence with the Bristish. The museum shows the lifestyle of the Egyptian Political class of the begining of the 20th century and it also has photographic documentation about the period.
