is the National Fishing Competition . In this competition , the fishermen compete each other on who would catch the biggest fish but this one takes place on the national scale only . In November , the International Fishing Competition takes place and this attracts fishermen from allover the world to participate in this competition and enjoy the heavenly beauty and good weather of Sharm at that time of the year . In addition to these competitions , there are numerous local festivals such as Sham El Nesim , Coptic Christmas and many other festivals that the people of Sharm celebrate with in their own traditional way .
