Earrings were used by ancient Egyptians since the period of Akhenaten by both men and women . These earrings were discovered in anonymous Tomb that in the Valley of the Kings that was used as a hiding place by the thieves . They were discovered with many other items that belong to King Sety II and his wife Queen Tausert .

The earring consists of two small tubes welded to rosette and a cap with some lily-shaped flowers hanging down from it . The cap is adorned with the cartouche of the king with his coronation and birth names .
