The Revolution of 1952 resulted in changing

entirely and led to great developments . The Agrarian Reform Law which declared the abolishment of the landowner's class , limiting the landholdings to 200 feddans and giving the peasants a piece of land between two to five feddans was issued in the same year . The law also encouraged the investment in industry and worked on supporting the regime . Improvements took place during the rule of Abd al-Nasser such as: improving education , giving equal chances for both boys and girls , rising wages , reducing working hours and creating new job opportunities .
