The tomb of Princess Ita is one of the tombs that has been enclosing numerous treasures and gold works wrapped in the mummy or hidden in chests and caskets . This dagger is one of the attractive pieces from the tomb . It is admired for the lapis lazuli pommel that is formed as a crescent moon , and the grip that is shaped as a gold tube with some precious stone inlays . The fragility of this dagger make it assumed that it was only a funerary object placed with the deceased to defend on himself against the evil forces in the other world .
