This hemispheric cup was included within the Crypt of Psusennes I in the Tomb of Psusennes I , in Tanis . Undjebauendjed was the army's general of king Psusennes I , the third king of the Twenty-first Dynasty . He was an important figure in the court . He held the titles: "The Prophet of Khonsu" , "The General of the Armies" , "The Head of the Pharaoh's Archers" , "The Director of the Prophets of all the Gods" and "The Justified of the House of Osiris , lord of Mendes" . In his tomb , which was found by Montet in 1939 inside the Tomb of Psusennes I , was found a stunning silver sarcophagus belonging to King Sheshonq II (of the Twenty-Second Dynasty) . Also found in the tomb were sets of grave goods that comprised of gold and silver vases , jars , finger sheaths , sandals , masks and jewelry .
This silver cup was hung through a hook held by four rivets at the rim of one end . Its center is decorated with a rosette with twelve gold petals encrusted with glass paste . The rosette is circulated with a gold depiction of two female swimmers in a pool facing one another among plants and animals such as fish and three ducks . The grasp lotus flowers in their mouths . Inscriptions on the outer wider circle include a dedication which reads: "The King of Upper and Lower Egypt , Aakheperre , chosen by Amun , the Son of Ra , Psusennes . Given as a gift by the king to the majordonl0 of Khonsu-at- Thebes_ Neberhotep , the prophet of Khonsu , the general of the armies , the head of the pharaoh's archers , the director of the prophets of all the gods , the prophet Undjebauendjed justified , of the house of Osiris , lord of Mendes . "
