This is a bust of Ramses II , the son of Seti I and Queen Tuya was the third king of the 19th Dynasty . The pharaoh is portrayed with a round face , narrow eyes , and a calm smile on his mouth with the ends of lips slightly raised . The head of the king is covered with a curly short wig with the uraeus serpent on his forehead as a sign for royalty and dressed in pleated garment with long , wide sleeves with his hand folded to his chest holding a scepter . The royal dignity of the statue is assured by the magnificent depiction of the Udjat eye of Horus on the wrist of the pharaoh .
