Ancient Egyptians have been using bracelets , anklets , necklaces and collars as accessories since a long period in the past . Thus there were numerous accessories and jewels in the pharaonic tombs .

These elegant gold bands were discovered in the Tomb of Queen Ahhotep in the Theban Necropolis . They are regarded as a good example for the attractive gold works in Egypt under the attack of Hyksos . This collection of simply decorated bracelets is made of thin leaves of gold and adorned with braided motif . Women were sometimes wearing it in their arms and other in the wrests .
