This collection of brightly colored bracelets and anklets were discovered in the Tomb of Uret at Dahshur . There were many other jewels and gold works with attractive geometrically patterned pieces that were kept in some spaces in the walls of the tomb and the brutal thieves could not find .
These bracelets are made of gold plaques and some pillars with some hieroglyphic sign "djed"- sign for stability-in between them . Meanwhile the anklets are made of the same inlaid precious stones and decorated with two gold talons . These pieces were placed with the deceased as amulets that are supposed to protect him in the underworld .
