The bracelet of Sheshonq II , Pharaoh from the 22nd Dynasty , was discovered in his tomb in the Temple of Amun Ra at Tanis .

It is one of the funerary objects that were wrapped in the mummy of the pharaoh .

The bracelet consists of a plain gold ring centered with a cylindrical Mesopotamian seal . The central seal or the Akkadian seal is made of dark blue lapis lazuli was usually used for ornamenting the bracelets during the 3rd millennium .

The seal is adorned with various scenes of mythical heroes and rampant animals like lions . There are also some depictions for some Pharaonic deities and other paintings with highly symbolic values . The seal was moving to allow seeing the decorations on all its sides .
